3D Search Engine
posted by Editor on Sunday September 30, @04:20PM
Search Interfaces NetReality creates personalized and relevancy-ranked views of the Web, called "worlds", which enable you to locate documents of interest quickly. You create worlds by entering search terms, a URL, or the contents of your bookmark file (you can add more search-engines through plugins). NetReality then presents results aggregated from all the sources in a 3D model (see screenshot). NetReality runs on Red Hat Linux 6.x and SuSE Linux 6.x (packages are also available for Caldera, Mandrake, and LinuxPPC). The try-and-buy version can be downloaded for free here (a licensed copy costs $9.99).
